Painting or Sculpture?

Well, both. Done the same way as any other bronze sculpture, I start by sculpting the texture of the scene, then it is cast into bronze which I can then patina. The process of patina is different than that of painting.  It is done with chemicals, paint, and heat, lots of heat!  Like any other sculpture a picture just doesn't do it justice!

Waldron Overlook

Across the Border

My father builds homes on Orcas Island, this is a portion of the view from one of the homes he built, the first island you see, I believe is still in the U.S. then the land past that is Canada.
